Tasting notes
Château du Vieux Guinot
Yves Beck – Bordeaux Primeurs 2022 91-93/100
Even if the bouquet reveals well its breeding, it also manages to highlight
shades of black berries and mint. On the palate the wine has body, fat.
Its tannins, perfectly integrated, are round and powerful. They display
a kind of quiet force, serenity and are coupled with tension of the acid structure.
The result is a wine that combines vigor and energy.A characterful and promising wine.

Château Fourney
Yves Beck – Bordeaux Primeurs 2022 90-91/100
Of good intensity, the bouquet of Fourney reveals fragrances of fresh wood, chalk
and mint complemented by shades of elderberry. The wine is of good density and endowed
creamy tannins, perfectly integrated. A harmonious, fresh and sapide wine with a
slightly salty finish, of good length. It has temperament and needs to flourish.
It will have time during breeding.

Osage du vieux Guinot
Yves Beck – Bordeaux Primeurs 2022 93-94/100
From a vineyard of an average age of 50 years on a clay-limestone soil, Osage is
vinified in concrete vats then aged in new barrels. As usual, this cuvée
emphasizes the freshness of its terroir through chalky nuances complemented
by fragrances of mint and black berries. Of good density, the wine has powerful
and velvety tannins, which offer a nice dynamic to the whole palate, commonly
with a structuring acidity. A full, juicy wine, characterful and persistent.
A great success in the making.
